Retaining Pins

The Retaining Pin, also known as Spring Cotters, R Pins or Hair Pin Cotters, are an easily fitted and easily removed spring steel wire retention device for shaft mounted items. They rely on their inherent spring force to maintain their installed position inserted diametrically through the shaft.

Sizes from:

Metric
Shaft 4-5mm to 60-65mm
Wire 1.0mm to 8.0mm

Double Coil Retaining Pins

  • It produces a complete ring which is much safer to attach a lanyard.
  • It increases the elasticity and so gives wider size coverage.

Sizes available:

Metric
Shaft 8-14mm to 28-40mm
Wire 2.0mm to 8.0mm

Safety Pin

Our  Safety pins are as the name implies, a safety method of locking the pin to the larger diameter shafts and also accommodates a wider variety of fitment applications.

Safety pin sizes from:

Metric
Shaft 5mm to 100mm
Wire 1.2mm to 6.0mm
